Spek­takl „Ni­ght Pie­ce N°7” to no­co­wan­ka z Te­atrem O-Team. Wspól­nie spę­dzo­na noc może być wy­jąt­ko­wym do­świad­cze­niem: no­co­wa­nie w domu przy­ja­cie­la w dzie­ciń­stwie, wschód słoń­ca po noc­nej eska­pa­dzie, spę­dze­nie nocy na lot­ni­sku ra­zem z in­ny­mi pa­sa­że­ra­mi. W cza­sach sta­ro­żyt­nych ist­niał zwy­czaj no­co­wa­nia w wy­bra­nych świą­ty­niach, w celu otrzy­ma­nia od bo­gów od­po­wie­dzi lub uzdro­wie­nia, we śnie. Na­zy­wa­no to snem świą­tyn­nym. To in­ku­bo­wa­nie snów, albo ro­dzaj sen­ne­go piel­grzy­mo­wa­nia.

Pod­czas gdy dzień wy­ko­rzy­stu­je­my na pro­duk­tyw­ne i świa­do­mie dzia­ła­nia, noc wy­zna­cza inne prze­strze­nie, nie­zna­ne, ta­jem­ni­cze, nie­sa­mo­wi­te - ob­sza­ry, któ­rych nie moż­na ści­śle skon­cep­tu­ali­zo­wać. Nocą wy­pa­da­my z ru­ty­ny co­dzien­ne­go ży­cia, prze­cho­dzi­my w stan in­a­czej na­si­lo­nej uwa­gi, uczuć i my­śli.

O-Team wraz z gru­pą oko­ło 20 uczest­ni­ków, wy­ru­szy na wy­pra­wę, pod­czas któ­rej wszy­scy wspól­nie będą do­świad­czać tego in­ne­go, noc­ne­go sta­nu umy­słu. Ra­zem Stwo­rzą trans­cen­den­tal­ne la­bo­ra­to­rium snu, któ­re bę­dzie eks­plo­ro­wać roz­my­te ob­sza­ry, za­wie­szo­ne po­mię­dzy snem a jawą, śnie­niem a rze­czy­wi­sto­ścią.

Noc­ny spek­takl “Ni­ght Pie­ce” to 11-go­dzin­ny ry­tu­ał me­dy­ta­cyj­ny z ele­men­ta­mi te­atru przed­mio­tu, ry­tu­ału, kon­cer­tu, per­for­man­su i in­sce­ni­zo­wa­nej, im­mer­syj­nej in­sta­la­cji ar­ty­stycz­nej - w po­szu­ki­wa­niu zmę­cze­nia, któ­re czy­ni nas bar­dziej otwar­ty­mi, prze­ni­kli­wy­mi i wraż­li­wy­mi. O-Team za­pra­sza do od­po­czyn­ku, drzem­ki, ma­rzeń i lu­na­ty­ko­wa­nia, do bez­pro­duk­tyw­no­ści i śnie­nia.

Te­atr O-Team - dzia­ła od 2007 roku jako pro­fe­sjo­nal­ny te­atr nie­za­leż­ny. Trzon ze­spo­łu sta­no­wią dy­rek­to­rzy ar­ty­stycz­ni - Nina Ma­lot­ta i Sa­mu­el Hof. O-Team re­gu­lar­nie współ­pra­cu­je z lal­kar­ką An­tje Töp­fer i ak­to­rem Fol­ker­tem Düc­ke­rem. O-Team ma sie­dzi­bę w sto­wa­rzy­sze­niu ar­ty­stycz­nym Stut­t­gar­ter Wa­gen­hal­le i ści­śle współ­pra­cu­je ze stut­t­garc­ki­mi te­atra­mi - Ram­pe i FITZ. Do tej pory te­atr stwo­rzył po­nad 30 pro­jek­tów, któ­re były wie­lo­krot­nie pre­zen­to­wa­ne na fe­sti­wa­lach w kra­ju i za gra­ni­cą. O-Team two­rzy pro­jek­ty in­ter­dy­scy­pli­nar­ne, w ży­wio­ło­wych i ob­ra­zo­wych for­ma­tach, któ­re są za­rów­no zmy­sło­we, jak i in­te­lek­tu­al­ne. Pro­jek­ty te miesz­czą się w ob­sza­rze per­for­man­su, te­atru la­lek i te­atru przed­mio­tu, te­atru wi­zu­al­ne­go oraz for­ma­tów im­mer­syj­nych. Pod wzglę­dem es­te­tycz­nym cha­rak­te­ry­zu­ją się one sta­ran­nie za­pro­jek­to­wa­ny­mi obiek­ta­mi i prze­strze­nia­mi sce­nicz­ny­mi, któ­re po­zwa­la­ją do­świad­czyć wi­dzom sce­nicz­nych sta­nów wy­jąt­ko­wych i współ­cze­snych te­atral­nych ry­tu­ałów.

Per­for­man­ce “Ni­ght Pie­ce N°7” is an over­ni­ght stay with O-Team The­atre. Spen­ding a ni­ght to­ge­ther can be a spe­cial expe­rien­ce: sle­eping over at a friend's home as a child, go­ing thro­ugh the ni­ght for the first time as a te­ena­ger, the sun­ri­se after­wards, be­ing stuck to­ge­ther at an air­port. In an­cient ti­mes the­re was a cu­stom of stay­ing over­ni­ght in cer­ta­in tem­ples in or­der to re­ce­ive an­swers or he­aling from the gods in a dre­am. This is cal­led tem­ple sle­ep or dre­am in­cu­ba­tion. A kind of dre­am pil­gri­ma­ge.

Whi­le the day is used pro­duc­ti­ve­ly, con­scio­usly and cle­ar­ly il­lu­mi­na­ted, the ni­ght stands for the other, the unk­nown, the my­ste­rio­us, the un­can­ny, for eve­ry­thing that can­not be stric­tly con­cep­tu­ali­zed. Fal­ling out of the ro­uti­ne of eve­ry­day life, of at­ten­tion, fe­elings and tho­ughts, in­ten­si­fies at ni­ght.

To­ge­ther in a com­mu­ni­ty of aro­und 20 gu­ests, O-Team em­barks on an expe­di­tion to expe­rien­ce and re­flect on this noc­tur­nal sta­te of mind. They cre­ate a trans­cen­den­tal sle­ep la­bo­ra­to­ry that explo­res the blur­ry in-be­twe­en of sle­eping and wa­king, of dre­am and re­ali­ty.

The ni­ght pie­ce is a jo­int 11-hour me­di­ta­ti­ve ri­tu­al with ele­ments of ob­ject the­atre, du­ra­tio­nal con­cert, per­for­man­ce and im­mer­si­ve art in­stal­la­tion - in se­arch of a ti­red­ness that ma­kes us more re­cep­ti­ve, more per­me­able, more sen­si­ti­ve. O-Team in­vi­tes you to come to rest, to doze, dre­am and sle­epwalk, to be unpro­duc­ti­ve and slum­ber away.

O-Team - has been ac­ti­ve sin­ce 2007 and has gra­du­al­ly de­ve­lo­ped into a pro­fes­sio­nal per­for­man­ce and the­atre com­pa­ny. The core team con­si­sts of the ar­ti­stic di­rec­tors - Nina Ma­lot­ta and Sa­mu­el Hof. Other per­ma­nent mem­bers of the team in­c­lu­de pro­duc­tion ma­na­ger Lisa Ti­car, dra­ma­tur­ge An­to­nia Be­er­mann and gra­phic de­si­gner Mar­kus Nie­ssner. O-Team col­la­bo­ra­tes re­gu­lar­ly, in par­ti­cu­lar with the pup­pe­te­er An­tje Töp­fer and the ac­tor Fol­kert Düc­ker. O-Team is ba­sed in the Stut­t­gar­ter Wa­gen­hal­le Art As­so­cia­tion and co­ope­ra­tes clo­se­ly with the Stut­t­gart the­atres - Ram­pe and FITZ. To date, they have cre­ated 30 pro­jects that have been pre­sen­ted at gu­est per­for­man­ces and fe­sti­vals in Ger­ma­ny and abro­ad. In often in­ter­di­sci­pli­na­ry line-ups, they mo­stly work in vi­su­al for­mats. The form of the pro­jects ran­ges be­twe­en per­for­man­ce, pup­pet the­atre and im­mer­si­ve for­mats. They see the­ir work as cut­ting-edge the­atri­cal re­se­arch for the in­no­va­ti­ve fur­ther de­ve­lop­ment of con­tem­po­ra­ry per­for­ming arts - sub­ver­si­ve, po­etic and in­tel­lec­tu­al.
